The Episcopal Church's Response to the Environment - Grace for Creation
New Sunday Series starting on April 10
The Episcopal Church affirms that grace is for all of creation – from people to plankton, all is being made new by the love of Christ. Beginning April 10, and continuing for 4 additional weeks, our Sunday morning Adult Forum will dig into this all-important issue of how we as Christians are called to live in relationship to creation. The series will include the following sessions: A Time for Repentance and Renewal, a Time for Grace for the Whole Creation, a Time for Justice and Sustainability, a Time to Renew Ancient Practices, and a Time to Commit and Act. Through these 5 weeks we will be guided by a recent and dynamic statement by the Episcopal House of Bishops so that we might hear and faithfully respond to "the gracious invitation of the incarnate Word to live a life of grace for the whole world, that thereby all the earth may be restored and humanity filled with hope." Join us each week on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for this very important conversation!
