Getting Our House Ready, Moving Our Mission Forward: August Update
Our $500,000 Capital Campaign will be focused on continuing energy savings upgrades to our wonderful Church and getting our "House" ready for our new Rector. The combined Capital Campaign/Stewardship Drive will be conducted simultaneously in the fall and conclude in December. As a reminder, the Capital Campaign will focus on the following undertakings.
Replacement of windows in the Church and Education Building, Installation of solar panels on the roof of the Education Building, Upgrades to air conditioning systems, Replacing of lighting systems with LED bulbs, Replacing boiler room doors, Refurbishing wood doors, Replacing carpeting in the Church, fixing the parking lot, and some minor maintenance items. During September, we will provide much more detail regarding these projects. We will launch the campaign in October jointly with our annual Stewardship Campaign.
During August, we are focusing on training for some of our parishioners who will assist for the campaign, production of campaign materials and mailings with assistance from the Episcopal Church Foundation and a myriad of details related to getting ready for the joint Stewardship/Capital Campaign.
